2022 Business Outlook – Dr. Kevin Fleary

2022 Business Outlook by Dr. Kevin Fleary

The pandemic has affected us in so many ways, exposing our vulnerabilities and our basic need to survive at the societal, economic and personal level. In many regards, 2021 was a year of awakening!

We no longer have stable supply chains and consumer demand is largely influenced by unforeseen events which adversely impacts management and planning.  The world of business has changed because of COVID-19. Now and more so in 2022 , will digital transactions be a focal point.  This cognitive shift in both consumer and supplier thinking will influence spending and buying patterns, as businesses attempt to overcome constraints brought about by trading with limited foreign currency in an unpredictable environment.

We will begin to see investment into digital ecosystems for increased growth and the need for market visibility. Growth of the ecosystem will commence largely with the marketing and sales function mimicking existing business models, but would eventually influence the operations and finance functions given the need for organizational data as a resource.
