Programme Objectives

Programme Objective - Master of Financial Management

The Master of Financial Management aims to train and develop individuals to be competent in financial management tools, techniques and decision-making. With these the participants will be able to develop the skills to analyze and resolve the competing perspectives of different stakeholder groups such as lenders/borrowers, shareholders/management, creditor/investors etc. and hence build consensus for decision-making. The decision-making or judgement approach is enhanced through Modelling, which is practical and allows the students to apply the skills and techniques taught to their workplace. In addition, the Modelling will serve not only as an application learning exercise but also as a monitoring mechanism to gauge the acquisition of the tools, techniques and knowledge that participants ought to acquire through the program.
