Purpose of the Alumni Board

The Purpose of the Alumni Board is to promote the value of the Alumni and cultivate traditions that build loyal relationships amongst students, alumni and the school; enhance the talent and recognize the contribution of the alumni to business, the school and society, to contribute to the development of the Lok Jack GSB Brand of Global Excellence, to partner with the school for its continuous growth and development of its stature in the academic landscape and in society, to recognise Alumni Excellence

Mr. Gregory Nicholas Hill

President – Alumni Board Arthur Lok Jack GSB Alumni Board

Mr. Gregory Nicholas Hill, is a career banker in the regional Financial Services Industry spanning over 25 years, in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking and Banking Regulation. Mr. Hill is the Managing Director of ANSA Merchant Bank Ltd. In addition to his post as Managing Director of ANSA Merchant Bank Limited, Mr. Hill is the Chairman of Consolidated Finance Company in Barbados, a Director on the Board of Trinidad and Tobago Insurance Limited (“TATIL”), a Director of the American Chamber of Commerce (“AMCHAM”), a past President and current Director of the Securities Dealers Association of Trinidad & Tobago (“SDATT”) and the past Chairman of the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business Alumni Board. He is the Top MBA Student in 2004 from the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business with an Executive MBA. Mr. Hill graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Economics (Honours) from the University of the West Indies and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) U.K and a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (ICATT).

Marciano Lie A Young

Vice President – Alumni Board Arthur Lok Jack GSB Alumni Board

Marciano has over 12 years of experience in providing Organizational Transformation programs to organizations on Corporate Leadership and Management development, Work-life balance, Entrepreneurship and Public speaking and has delivered training programs in 21 countries in South America & the Caribbean, Africa, Europe and Asia. A Ken Blanchard channel partner and John Maxwell certified leadership & management trainer and coach, he’s Certified in delivering training in the field of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma and Situational Leadership II. He is the founder and director of PRAGMATIC Business Support & Advisory. His education and training include, the POST MBA programme and the Masters in Small and Medium Enterprise Management at Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business /University of West Indies). He’s also the holder of a POST-Bachelor Human Resource Management from the Avans Hogeschool in association with ADEKuS, Lean Six Sigma Black Belt holder and Certified Digital Marketing Professional.

Ravi Suryadevara

Alumni Board Member

Ravi Suryadevara is the Chief Executive Officer (C.E.O.) and Co-Owner of the Trinidad Valve & Fitting Company Limited (TRINVALCO) in Trinidad and Tobago. Ravi is also a Director and a past President of the American Chamber of Commerce of Trinidad & Tobago (AMCHAM T&T), position he has held since May 2014 and 2015-2017 respectively. Ravi is also a member of the Board of Directors of the American Chambers of Commerce of Latin America and the Caribbean (AACCLA) since September, 2016. Ravi currently serves on the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Trinidad & Tobago (ICATT) Disciplinary Proceedings and Appeals Panel as well. Ravi holds a BSc. in Nuclear Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a M.B.A from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, The University of The West Indies.

Dr. Rollin Bertrand

Alumni Board Member

Experienced Chief Executive Officer with over 30 years in regional manufacturing and 16 years as CEO of the TCL Group a publicly Listed Company. He is Principal Management and Leadership Consultant of Transformational Executive Services since 2016 providing Executive Coaching to local clients such as Lake Asphalt of T&T (1978) Limited. Dr. Rollin Bertrand graduated with an Executive Masters of Business Administration at the University of the West Indies / Institute of Business in 1993, where his practicum focused on “Training of Maintenance Personnel at Trinidad Cement Limited”. In 2011 Dr. Bertrand was honoured by The University of the West Indies Alumni Association with a Distinguished Alumni Award. He is also the holder of a Bachelor of Science (Special) in Geology (1979) and a Doctor of Philosophy in Geology (1984) at University of the West Indies and a Doctor of Business Administration (2014) at the University of Phoenix (UoP). His Doctoral Dissertation at the UoP was on “Empowering Entrepreneurial Leaders in the Anglophone Caribbean”.

Renatha Exeter (Guyana)

Alumni Board Member

Renatha Exeter is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Guyana Oil Company Limited. Renatha previously held the position of General Manager at iRadio – Mix 90.1FM, the local media entity of Ansa McAl Group of Companies. Prior to joining iRadio she held several sales and marketing related positions and has a wealth and depth of expertise in this field. She started her early academic life at St. Agnes Primary School and continued at the St. Joseph’s High School and Queens College. After completing her secondary education, she went on to the University of Guyana where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She later completed an Executive Masters in Business Administration at the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business, UWI.

Dr. Lennox Sealey

Alumni Board Member

Dr Lennox Sealy, consultant, LSA Management Consultancy Services was originally trained in the natural sciences between 1971 and 1975 at the University of the West Indies (UWI), Trinidad. In 1982, he completed his doctorate in biochemistry at the University of Nantes, France. In 1986, he obtained a post-graduate degree in management from the UWI. Further to this, he completed the Executive Masters in Business Administration at the Lok Jack GSB and started the consultancy firm, Lennox H Sealy and Associates. He has consulted with major firms such as: Cable and Wireless, Republic Company, Unit Trust Corporation, Ministry of Public Administration and Information as well as international firms such as Norsk Hydro, Phoenix Park Gas Processors and British American Tobacco. Sealy’s particular area of interest is in the use of chaos theory in facilitating team-based organisational change and transformation.
