Impacts of COVID-19 on Caribbean business

By Dr. Kevin M. Fleary & Dr. Ronald Dyer

Compete Caribbean has recently conducted a groundbreaking survey to assess the far-reaching impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on businesses throughout the Caribbean region, regardless of their size. This initiative marks a significant milestone in our efforts to collect comprehensive data on various aspects of these enterprises, including their size, ownership structures, financial health, operational status, and innovative capacities.

The primary objective of this survey, titled “Issues in Enterprises in the Caribbean,” is to shed light on the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in the Caribbean during these unprecedented times. We aim to provide valuable insights that can inform the decision-making processes of governments, regulatory agencies, and other relevant organizations.

Your input and participation in this survey are invaluable, and we extend our gratitude to all who contributed. By sharing your experiences and perspectives, you have contributed to a wealth of knowledge that can pave the way for more informed and effective strategies to support businesses and drive economic recovery and growth in the Caribbean.
