Dr. Sherry-Ann Ganase – PhD, The University of the West Indies
Dr. Sherry-Ann Ganase is an Adjunct Lecturer at the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business and the holder of a PhD in Economics from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad and Tobago. She graduated from the UWI with a BSc in Economics and Business Management (First Class Honors) and MSC in Economics.
Sherry-Ann has a wealth of lecturing experience at the tertiary level (UTT, COSTATT, UWI) and has taught subject areas at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Some of the courses delivered include but not limited to Engineering Economics, Environmental Economics, Intermediate Macroeconomics, Microeconomics and Sustainability, Macroeconomics and Sustainability Challenges, and Managing for Sustainability. Her passion for teaching is evident in her collegial and charismatic style of coaching.
Dr. Ganase is a past recipient of numerous scholarships and has published in the field of Environmental Economics. She has shared this knowledge at conferences locally, regionally and internationally and was also granted the opportunity to be one of twenty students in the world to partake in Environmental and Resource Economics, and Sustainable Development training courses in Costa Rica and Italy, respectively.
