A social media strategy defines how organisations use social media platforms and tools parallel to other marketing strategies to achieve their communications objectives. This workshop will teach participants about the design, planning, conceptualisation, implementation, and evaluation of social media strategies.
Participants in this workshop will identify the characteristics of a social media strategy and the contribution of social channels to the overall digital strategy. At the end of this workshop participants will design a content-based social media strategy that would maximise the use of social networks. Finally, participants will use key indicators to measure the impact of a social media strategy in terms of brand awareness, digital influence, and user engagement.
