MSc. International Finance

INCREASE YOUR VALUE. INVEST IN YOU.

The sudden and precipitous collapse of the world financial markets in 2008 once again heightened the need for better understanding of the complex financial instruments that abound today and the importance of prudent risk management.

Being in an interconnected world, we in the Caribbean are not immune to the tremors in the world market. The Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business fully appreciates this. This new programme is an earnest attempt to elevate the local knowledge and understanding of the operations of the world financial markets.

The MSc in International Finance aims to develop a cadre of professionals with an in-depth understanding of the concepts, tools and techniques for the effective management of financial resources within the context of an international financial market and framework.

The programme is geared to offer exciting, unique and concentrated coverage in highly relevant finance and investment related courses that are set in an international context. The curriculum is designed to foster creative and critical thinking within the context of the globally competitive environment of finance and investments.

The curriculum has been developed with the active involvement and support of industry practitioners across the financial markets both locally and abroad. Additionally, a concerted effort has been made to tailor the programme to the local and regional context.

I am confident that participants undertaking this journey in MSc in International Finance would find it not only rewarding but enlightening and practical as well.

With best regards,
